Welcoming Neurodivergent Visitors at Jenkins Arboretum
Jenkins is working to make their site, programs, and services more accessible to all community members. As part of that goal, they wanted to improve resources for neurodivergent visitors, including those with autism.
Jenkins frequently interacts with neurodivergent visitors in the garden, and it is their aim to make sure staff and the site are as friendly, comfortable, and safe as possible.
- Expand online resources for pre-visit planning

- Train staff to better welcome neurodivergent visitors
